Volunteers Needed

Cart Drivers

Volunteer Cart Drivers drive the cart that carries the bags for each group of FUTURES Professionals. They also keep an unofficial score for each of the players in their group, which they turn in after nine holes.
Needs:
1st Round - 48 Cart Drivers
2nd Round - 48 Cart Drivers plus 6 Leaderboard Cart Drivers = 54 Drivers
Final Round - 26 Cart Drivers plus 6 Leaderboard Cart Drivers = 32 Drivers
Note: After the second round, the field is reduced to the low 70 players and ties. That number will determine how many Cart Drivers are actually needed. (24 to 26 estimated). Cart Leaderboard Drivers are used for the second and final rounds only. These drivers are in addition to the above drivers. (In cases where a volunteer carries the leaderboard on a standard, these 6 drivers will not be needed and the scoring committee will handle the necessary number of volunteers.)

Scoring

There are several areas that require volunteer scorers. Volunteers are needed at the scoring tent to receive and verify final scores. The scoreboard will also need volunteers to post scores throughout each tournament day. Nine hole scorers are needed to take nine hole scores. For the second and final rounds, an on-course leaderboard and main leaderboard (off of the 18th green) will need volunteers to receive and post leaderboard scores.
Needs:
Number of volunteers: 20 - 25

Marshal

Marshals are responsible for gallery control and safety. They also assist the professionals by spotting balls and preventing outside agencies from interfering with play. The number of Marshals needed for a tournament is a direct correlation to the number of anticipated spectators. If all indicators point to gallery of 1,000 or more, it will be necessary to secure the optimum number of Marshals (two per hole). Otherwise secure enough Marshals for high traffic/visibility holes (e.g. #1 tee, #9 green, #10 and #18 green) , as well as those holes needing ball spotters.

Media

Volunteers are needed to help media personnel around the area. Media volunteers will need to ensure that each media representative knows where the media area is and has access to any materials supplied by the tournament. Media volunteers may be needed to shuttle media representatives around the course and to different locations through out tournament grounds.

* Meals are not required or expected. If you wish to include your player(s), please do so.
